WINTER CARNIVAL WEEKEND
WINTER HAS RESTARTED
Lots of telephone calls today from guests in southern NH and MA. We hear that there is no snow down south – but we did receive about 8 – 10 inches on 12 Jan; combined with the cold nights – our ski operators have been working hard to groom both downhill and cross country. Our cross country guests reported conditions were excellent today, and with sunshine and continued cold WINTER HAS FINALLY RESTARTED!!

Good Bye Irene…..

The Eagle Mountain House sustained no damage during the recent hurricane and we are eagerly anticipating a beautiful Labor Day weekend. Our Golf Course was flooded by the Wild Cat River during the heavy rain, but the water has receded and the course will be ready on Saturday.
After the recent storms the humidity cleared out and we have beautiful blue skies, warm dry days and the beginning of crisp cool evenings. Most local attractions have reopened and we are all ready to greet our guests.
For those guests who were with us during the storm – all of us at the Eagle appreciated your humor and enjoyed sharing the sense of wonder we all experienced when seeing the true power of Mother Nature.
Don’t forget to post your pictures on our Facebook site! We have some great pictures and will post them on this blog later in the week.
