The Eagle Mountain House is one of the few remaining 'grand era' hotels in the White Mountains and one of only two in the state to be designated a Historic Hotel by the National Trust for Historic Preservation. The feeling is elegant, yet the mood is casul and relaxed.

Wedding ceremonies may be performed either indoors in our chapel-like Eagle Mountain Room or outdoors overlooking the surrounding mountains. Our 280-foot wrap around verandah is a magnificent location to host your cocktail reception.

Here are some photos of weddings that have taken place outdoors on our verandah, the 3rd tee or deck of the Carriage House in addition to the choice of four unique function rooms that accommodate up to 180 guests.

Set up fees apply to outdoor ceremonies as well as cocktails and hors d'oeuvres on the verandah. The Main Dining Room is available for dinners served by 2 pm. Otherwise the Carriage House will be the dinner location with service by 6:30 pm. Highfield's Dining Room may be combined with the Carter Notch Room to seat a maximum of 150 guests for a sit-down dinner. The Carriage House will accommodate up to 180 guests with a dance floor.
