The Beginning:
From a chance meeting to full-throttle love.
Matt & Amy’s story started in February 2022 at a New England ice cream stand. They both arrived on motorcycles, both unaware that a simple, chilly encounter would spark something meaningful. From the start, they discovered shared values and an easy connection that grew into a close friendship. Over time, Amy began to see Matt’s kindness in a new light, hoping it meant something more. Exactly one year after they first met, they went on their first official date, and from that moment on, their love story moved forward at full speed.
the Proposal
Scaring each other is their love language. Matt got a Ghillie Suit and hid behind a shed, trying to scare Amy. It didn’t work, but she was quite surprised when he got down on one knee, dressed as a bush, and proposed. Matt had arranged for Amy’s family and close friends to be there for the event. It was perfect.

Why Eagle Mountain?
With a shared love for the White Mountains, the couple knew they wanted a setting that felt just as special as their story. From the moment they first saw Eagle Mountain House, it felt like something out of a fairy tale. An unforgettable dinner on the veranda, a charming overnight stay, and a breathtaking ceremony site made the decision easy. Meeting Linda and experiencing her passion and enthusiasm only deepened their excitement, confirming they had found the perfect place to say “I do.”
Everything from the first view of Eagle Mountain House as we rounded the bend was like a fairy tale.
